Can you add the sound of a ______?

- Maybe.  Send me an email with the request and if I get enough emails asking for it, I will try.

How do I access the Timer and all the advanced features?

- Click the little “i” in the top right corner

Can this run in the background while I do other things on the iPhone/iPod?

- Currently, Apple prohibits 3rd party applications from running in the background.

I want an Alarm to wake up to.

Ambiance takes forever to sync... what can I do to speed it up?

- Try deleting some of the sounds you know you will never listen to to make the app smaller

Ambiance won’t open!

- Sometimes a bad install from Ambiance or another app will do that.  Try powering off/on your phone.  If that doesn't work, then try a hard reset by holding the sleep and home button until the phone turns off.  Power it back on.  If that doesn't work, then try syncing up with iTunes.  If that doesn't work, I would try removing Ambiance and any other apps that you installed after Ambiance, then letting iTunes reinstall them for you.  As a last resort, you can try restoring your phone to a previous date through iTunes and then try again.

I can’t hear anything!

- Make sure that both the device volume and the Ambiance volume are up.  Sometimes other  Applications (Enigmo, Pandora) will change the volume setting after using their app.  Double check that both volumes are up.  See Above.

I love your app!  Can I buy you a beer?

- Sure!  Click the “Donate” button on the back pane

Can you add video/pictures to the app?

- No. I want to keep the app simple and don’t want to make it excessively big

Can I use these sounds for my ringtones or iPhone alarm?

- No.  Apple does not allow access to the ringtones.

Can I use my own music / sound effects in Ambiance?

1. -No.  Apple does not allow 3rd party apps to play music from the iPod
   

Will I be charged for the update?

- No.  If you go through the motions of “purchasing” Ambiance again, iTunes will recognize that you have already paid and not charge you again.

Can you fix the sound ___________?

- Yes.  I am not a sound engineer but a software engineer.  If something is wrong, please tell me.
