SimpleScrobbler
SimpleScrobbler is a Last.FM client (A.K.A. “Scrobbler”) that is stripped down to the bone, getting rid of all the fluffy features most clients have. With out all the bells and whistles, SimpleScrobbler runs faster and more efficiently, and leaves less of a footprint on your system.
What is it?
A Scrobbler runs on your computer, listening to your iTunes songs as you do, and sends the song information to your free Last.FM account.
What does a Scrobbler do?
Last.FM uses the song data sent by a Scrobbler to make nifty graphs and charts of your tracks. Some of the info it gives you is Most-Recent-Tracks, Most-Listened-Tracks, Most-Listened-Artists, and much more. If you want to dive in more, you can get music recommendations based on what you listen to and find friends with similar taste.
